Data Model

Managing records in detailed view

Record Details in Dalil AI provide a complete view of a contact, company, or opportunity. The record page brings together conversations, activities, notes, tasks, meetings, and AI insights so you can manage a relationship from a single workspace.

Instead of switching between multiple tools, Dalil centralizes all interactions and data related to a record in one place.

Understanding the Record Detail Page

When you click on a record (for example a Person, Company, or Opportunity) you open its record detail view.

This page is designed to give you full visibility and control over the relationship.

The interface is organized into two main sections:

Main workspace (left side)
Where you interact with conversations, activities, notes, tasks, and meetings.

Record details panel (right side)
Where you see and edit the structured data related to the record.

This structure allows you to manage both data and interactions without leaving the page.

Record Details Panel

The right-side panel contains the structured information stored in the CRM.

This panel shows the core fields of the record, including:

  • Company

  • Job title

  • Emails

  • Phones

  • LinkedIn profile

  • City

  • Last contact date

  • Last update

  • Owner

These fields represent the structured data defined by your entity fields configuration.

You can update most of these fields directly from the panel.

Linked records

Records can also be linked to other parts of the CRM.

For example a person record may be connected to:

  • Companies

  • Opportunities

  • Pipelines

  • Sequences

  • Workflows

This allows Dalil to represent real business relationships and enables automation and AI insights based on those connections.

Example:

A Person record may be linked to a Company, an Opportunity in a fundraising pipeline, and an active outreach sequence.

Dalil AI Intelligence Overview

At the top of the record page you will find the Dalil Intelligence Overview.

This section summarizes important signals detected by Dalil AI based on conversations and activities.

It may include insights such as:

  • Customer sentiment

  • Last interaction summary

  • Pipeline insights

  • Dalil Score

  • Critical watchpoints

  • Key customer demands

These insights help sales teams quickly understand the status of a relationship without reading every conversation manually.

Example:

Dalil AI may highlight that a contact is reviewing a proposal, asking questions about pricing, and actively responding to messages.

Activity Timeline

The Activity tab shows a chronological timeline of everything that happened with this record.

This includes:

  • Messages sent or received

  • Pipeline updates

  • Field changes

  • Automation actions

  • Workflow events

Each event is recorded with a timestamp so you can understand the history of the relationship.

Example activity items may include:

WhatsApp messages sent
Pipeline stage changes
Updates to opportunity details
Automation triggers

The activity timeline acts as the audit log of the relationship.

Conversations

The Conversations tab displays the communication history linked to the record.

Dalil automatically aggregates conversations across supported channels such as:

  • Email

  • WhatsApp

  • LinkedIn

This allows you to see the entire conversation history in one place and reply directly from the record.

Example:

You may see a LinkedIn conversation that started the relationship, a WhatsApp exchange confirming a meeting, and an email discussing the proposal.

Notes

The Notes tab allows you to store qualitative information about the relationship.

Notes are useful for capturing insights that may not come from automated sources.

Typical examples include:

Meeting summaries
Internal observations
Customer context
Strategic insights

Notes remain attached to the record so anyone in the team can understand the background of the relationship.

Tasks

The Tasks tab allows you to manage action items linked to the record.

Tasks can be used to track follow-ups or responsibilities such as:

Scheduling a call
Sending a proposal
Following up after a meeting

Tasks can be assigned, updated, and marked as completed directly within the record page.

Calendar and Meetings

The Calendar tab aggregates meetings and events related to the record.

If a meeting is linked to the contact, you will see information such as:

  • Meeting title

  • Duration

  • Participants

  • Meeting link

  • AI meeting summaries and transcripts

Dalil AI can automatically generate meeting summaries, transcripts, and action items from recorded calls.

This ensures meetings are documented without manual note-taking.

Why the Record Detail Page Matters

The record detail page is the central workspace for relationship management in Dalil AI.

Instead of switching between CRM pages, inboxes, and task tools, everything related to the contact or company is visible in one place.

This provides:

  • Full communication visibility

  • Structured CRM data

  • AI insights and signals

  • Action management through tasks

  • Meeting context and summaries

Key Outcome

The record detail page connects data, conversations, and actions around a single contact, company, or opportunity.

By centralizing activities, communications, and AI insights, Dalil helps teams understand relationships faster and act on them without leaving the CRM.
