With WhatsApp DMs sync enabled, Dalil AI brings your client and prospect conversations directly into your CRM.
Messages appear inside the Unified Inbox and are automatically linked to the correct People and Company records, ensuring every interaction is captured and organized.

WhatsApp sync modes
When connecting WhatsApp, Dalil allows you to choose between two different syncing modes.
1. Sync all WhatsApp conversations
Dalil can sync all conversations from your WhatsApp account, including contacts that are not yet in your CRM.
This removes the need for manual data entry because Dalil can automatically capture phone numbers and conversation context and allow you to create CRM records instantly.
If personal chats are imported, they can be unsynced and permanently removed from Dalil’s inbox and database at any time.
This mode is ideal for users who want maximum automation and minimal manual work.
2. Sync only CRM-related conversations
For teams with stronger privacy requirements, Dalil can sync only conversations linked to phone numbers already stored in the CRM.
In this mode:
Personal chats are never imported
Only conversations with existing CRM contacts appear in Dalil
Users maintain full separation between personal and professional communication
This is the default and most privacy-focused syncing option.
Importing conversations and creating records
Dalil also provides powerful tools to turn conversations into CRM data.
From the Unified Inbox, users can:
Import 1-to-1 WhatsApp conversations
Import group conversations
Create a new CRM record in one click from any conversation
This makes it easy to convert real conversations into People, Companies, and Deals without switching tools.

How to enable WhatsApp DMs sync
Go to Account Settings
Open Core Integrations
Click Add on the WhatsApp DMs integration
Follow the steps on screen:
Scan the QR code from WhatsApp
Click Link Device
Scan the QR again to confirm
Wait for the integration to complete
Once completed, your WhatsApp account and Dalil CRM will be connected and message syncing will begin.

This allows teams to manage conversations without switching between tools.
Record conversations
Each Person or Company record contains a Conversation tab where all synced messages appear.
