Unified Inbox
Managing LinkedIn conversations and engagement in Dalil
Dalil treats LinkedIn as a first-class communication channel inside the Unified Inbox.
Instead of managing LinkedIn messaging separately from your CRM, Dalil allows you to read conversations, reply to prospects, and connect LinkedIn activity directly to People, Companies, and Opportunities.
This ensures LinkedIn conversations become part of your sales workflow and CRM history.
LinkedIn messaging in the Unified Inbox
Once LinkedIn is connected, your LinkedIn conversations appear directly inside the Dalil Unified Inbox.
LinkedIn threads behave like any other conversation in Dalil.
Each thread includes:
LinkedIn channel indicator
Contact name and avatar
Message timeline with full conversation history
Attachments or media shared in the conversation
You can reply directly from Dalil, keeping the entire communication history connected to your CRM records.
LinkedIn profile preview
When opening a LinkedIn conversation, Dalil displays a profile preview in the side panel.
This preview may include:
LinkedIn headline
Current company
Location
Basic profile information
This allows you to understand the contact context without leaving the inbox.
You can also open the full LinkedIn profile directly when needed.
Social tab
The Social tab provides additional LinkedIn activity related to the contact.
From this panel you can access:
Recent LinkedIn posts
Social interactions related to the contact
Quick actions for engaging with their content
This makes it easier to combine direct messaging with social engagement as part of your outreach strategy.
Viewing and engaging with posts
Dalil can display a contact’s recent LinkedIn posts inside the Social tab.
Each post preview shows:
Post text
Media preview if available
Basic engagement actions
From here you can:
Like the post
Write a comment
Essentially engage with the contact’s content without leaving Dalil
This helps sales teams stay active on LinkedIn while keeping engagement visible inside the CRM.
AI comment suggestions
Dalil includes AI tools to help generate thoughtful comments on LinkedIn posts.
When commenting on a post, you can request AI comment suggestions.
The system generates several options based on the context of the post.
You can choose one of the suggestions, edit it, or generate new alternatives.
This helps maintain authentic engagement while saving time.
Syncing LinkedIn contacts with Dalil
Dalil uses a Chrome extension to synchronize LinkedIn contacts with your CRM.
This allows you to create or update CRM records directly from LinkedIn.
Once synced, LinkedIn conversations automatically appear in the Unified Inbox and can be linked to CRM records.
Syncing individual profiles
From a LinkedIn profile page you can click Sync to Dalil.
Dalil will create or update:
Person record
Linked company record (if available)
LinkedIn profile reference
This ensures the contact becomes part of your CRM.
Syncing companies
You can also sync LinkedIn company pages.
This allows Dalil to create a Company record in the CRM and connect related contacts to that organization.
This is especially useful when prospecting within specific companies.
Bulk sync from LinkedIn lists
When using LinkedIn search or Sales Navigator lists, Dalil allows bulk syncing of profiles.
You can select multiple contacts and sync them into Dalil with one action.
During the process, Dalil shows a summary of:
Synced contacts
Skipped profiles
Possible duplicates
Errors
This allows you to import prospect lists efficiently.
Why LinkedIn integration matters
LinkedIn is one of the most important channels for modern sales teams.
Without CRM integration, LinkedIn conversations often remain disconnected from the sales pipeline.
Dalil solves this by turning LinkedIn messaging and engagement into structured CRM activity.
This allows teams to:
Capture LinkedIn conversations automatically
Connect prospects to People and Company records
Track engagement across conversations and posts
Integrate LinkedIn outreach with sequences and pipelines
Key Outcome
By integrating LinkedIn directly into the Unified Inbox, Dalil allows teams to manage LinkedIn conversations, prospecting, and engagement inside the CRM.
This ensures LinkedIn interactions contribute to your sales workflow instead of remaining isolated in external tools.
