Unified Inbox
Managing personal or unsynced conversations
Dalil allows you to keep certain conversations outside of the CRM when they are personal or not relevant to your sales workflow.
This is done using the Unsync feature.
Unsync ensures that sensitive or private conversations do not become part of your CRM records while still allowing you to access them if needed.
What “Unsync” Means
When a conversation is Unsynced, Dalil stops tracking it as part of your CRM activity.
The thread will:
Be removed from CRM records
Stop syncing future messages into Dalil
No longer appear in pipelines, activity timelines, or analytics
However, the conversation is not deleted in your device. It simply removed from our databases.
Personal conversations
Some messages may not belong in a CRM.
Examples include:
Personal conversations with colleagues or friends
Messages unrelated to sales or business activity
Private discussions that should not be recorded in the CRM
Using Unsync allows you to keep your CRM focused only on relevant business conversations.
Removing a conversation from the CRM
To Unsync a conversation:
Open the conversation thread
Click Unsync from the thread actions
Confirm the action
Once Unsynced, the conversation will no longer be associated with any CRM records.
This ensures that your People, Company, and Opportunity records remain clean and accurate.
Resyncing a conversation
If a conversation becomes relevant again, it can be synced back into Dalil.
Resyncing will restore the connection between the thread and the CRM.
You can then link the conversation to the correct Person, Company, or Opportunity record.
Privacy and data control
The Unsync feature is designed to give users full control over which conversations are tracked by the CRM.
This helps ensure:
Personal conversations remain private
Only relevant business interactions appear in the CRM
Sales analytics and AI insights are based on accurate data
Dalil prioritizes transparency so users always know which conversations are being tracked and which are not.
Key outcome
Unsyncing conversations helps maintain data quality and privacy in Dalil.
By separating personal conversations from CRM activity, teams can keep their inbox organized while ensuring the CRM only contains relevant business interactions.
